Who Am I?

My name is Roqué Marcelo, and I am a queer, Filipino, multimedia artist based out of Middle Tennessee. I play piano, make films, write essays and stories, sing, draw art, dance, take photos, and perform for audiences near and far.

My writings will explore ideas behind my slow approach to creative work and how this helps me build a more balanced life, in addition to musings about my experiences living deep in the woods of Middle Tennessee with my partner, three cats, and a year-round garden. Every week, I will share new artistic works including original essays, poetry, films, photography, music, and visual art.
